Easy money:
Go to the options screen and choose "Simulation" option. Gain a racing license and get a good car. Afer choose the "Racing Calendar" and pick the "Single Player" option. Beat your opponent, and you will earn $400. When the game asked, select "Restart" and race again.
Repeat as many times you want to get enough money.
