Exploration King Vyse rank:
Find all Discoveries and over 90% of the hidden treasurechests. Go to Hamachou Island to check your exploration total.

Sky Battle King Vyse rank:
Defeat Roc in Ixa'taka, Alania in Glacia, Giant Loopernear the Looper's nest Discovery, Obispo (north from CrescentIsle until you wrap around the map to the bottom), and twelveship battles with Valuans, Black Pirates, and any other opponent.

Vyse the Battle Lord rank:
Kill more than 2,500 monsters. Go to Hamachou Islandto check your kill total.

Vyse the Bounty King rank:
Defeat and claim the rewards for all eight bounties.

Vyse the Charismatic rank:
Find all crew members.

Vyse the Extravagant rank:
Accumulate 1 million gold and all of the ship luxuryitems: the Intercom (bought in Nasrad), Enhanced Kitchen (boughtin Nasrad), Floor Heater (Ixa'takan Black Market ship), Air Purifier(dropped Alania the giant spider if Kalifa is in the party), YafutomanAlcove (bought in Yafutoma), Soundproofing (from Raja or RajaEmbla ship battles in Deep Sky if Kalifa is in party), ExpensiveWheel (bought in Crescent Isle), and Chandelier (bought in CrescentIsle), Wooden Doll (from Roc the giant bird if Kalifa is in party).

Vyse the Fisher King rank:
Catch more than 1,000 fish. You do not have to keepthem all in your inventory.

Vyse the Legend rank:
Get all Discoveries, 100% hidden treasure chests, alleight bounties, and complete the Piastol/Maria plot.

Rank bonus:
Earn all the ranks available for Vyse. Return to CrescentIsle to encounter Vigoro as a pirate. The Mystery Merchant willnow sell the Sky Fang cutlass. There is also a Golden HamachouDiscovery that can be found at the top of the island between ShrineIsland and Sailors' Isle .

Hint: Avoid battles on ship:
Fly as low as possible to avoid battles on your ship.Note: This works about 50% of the time.

Hint: Tuna Cutlass:
Even though the Tuna Cutlass is near the top of thelist, you should avoid it because of its horrible accuracy andhit percentage.

Hint: Water beast:
When you get the Green Moon Crystal, go back down toHorteka Village. Go down to the water and talk to the beast. Hewill ask to see the stone. Answer "Yes" and you willget a black 5" cannon for your ship. Note: You can only talkto the beast once, and if you do not have the stone at that timehe will leave forever. If you give him the crystal, you will haveto fight him to get it back.

Hint: Magic Cannon:
When you defeat Bellezza and steal her Magic Cannon,you can use it to defeat Armada Cruisers or Black Pirates thatuse magic in ship battles by casting Silensis at the start ofa battle and stopping them from using Magic. This way, they cannotattack and you can easily build up power for the Harpoon/MoonStone Cannon.

Hint: Vorlik Blade:
In order to get the ultimate blade for Vyse, you mustfirst have Ryu-Khan and then you must upgrade his shop. Afteryou find Fina's ship, talk to him about things. He will tell youabout a piece of metal called "Velorium". Go back intodeep sky and start searching with the crane. Soon, you will findtwo pieces of the substance. Talk to him again and he will beginwork on his "ultimate piece". In a day or two, checkwith him. He will give you the Vorlik Blade. This has the highestattack and accuracy in the game.

Hint: Cham locations:

1. At Pirate's Isle, go to the underground area. It is near thecrane at the topmost area.

2. At Shrine Island, it is on the third level down from the entrance.

3. At Maramba, it is on the balcony of the inn.

4. At the Temple of Prynn in the second hall with a falling boulder,it is in the center of the hall against the left wall.

5. At Horteka, it can be found just before the entrance to theairship area.

6. At King's Hideout, it can be found near the open silver pot.

7. At Moon Stone Mountain, at the very first fork, turn left andsearch.

8. At Moon Stone Mountian, in the first room that you can seebelow, cross to the other side via the left path. Then, get onthe middle path and search near the trap panel.

9. At Rixis Entrance, it is to the left of the statue where youplaced the Golden Man's Eye (the left statue).

10. At Rixis, in the area with several floating platforms, aftercrossing on the first, go up the broken stairs and search. Itis at the top.

11. Defeat Gordo in the North Ocean.

12. At Nasr, you will get it automatically when you receive thepaycheck at the tavern.

13. At Daccat's Island, it is near the entrance when you go therewith Aika and Fina.

14. At Daccat's Island, in the room with several bridges on Aika'sside, go to the treasure chest and cross the two bridges directlyin front of you. Then, search.

15. Search at the top of the Sailor's Island lighthouse.

16. At Nasrad in Ruins, search below the fountain in the centerof town.

17. Search the deck of the Delphinus.

18. At Esperanza, go down the ladder near the entrance of themain town area and search.

19. At Yafutoma, you will find this Cham on the right side ofthe city near the ferry dock.

20. At Mt. Kazai, after the drop from the room with four passages,go down the passage until you reach a fork. Go south and searchimmediately for the cham.

21. At Exile Island, follow the path until you pass under a "roof".Then, go to the next circular area and search for a Cham.

22. At Crescent Isle, search behind the building with the largecannon in it, underground.

23. At Crescent Isle, look near the flagpole in the upper partof the village.

24. At Gordo's Bistro, search near the barrels. Gordo's Bistrocan be found in North Ocean near the top of the sky.

25. Search the entrance of the Ruins of Ice.

26. At Glacia, from the final save point in the dungeon, go southpast an intersection and search at the end of the path.

27. At Ilchymis' Islandm look down the stairs near one of themachines.

28. Hamachou Island can be found high in the sky above Dark Rift.search around near the partying Chou to find the Cham.

29. At Shrine Island (part of Soltis), Once inside the area withmany ring rooms, go to the last large room before the next area.Go down one room. It is located here.

30. At Soltis, once in the area with all the teleporters, searcheach level for the final Cham.

Hint: Abirik Chams:

1. Catch ten Sky Sardis fish and give them to the merchant flyingnext to Horteka.

2. Go to Nasr once it has been destroyed and talk to the old merchantwho gave you the passport into Valua. He is in the weapon shop.

3. Keep going to the Kabal lady in Maramba and the tavern keeperin Esparanza until you have to find Gentum, Khale and Kabal tomake some Kabal Skewers. The Kabal can be found by going to Gordo'sBistro and talking to Gordo; the Gentum by going to the item shopin Nasr and buying it for 300 gold pieces; and the Khale on aninvisible island called Spice Island, southwest of Yufatoma (itis also a discovery -- watch your compass). Once you have obtainedall of these, keep going back and forth again until the tavernkeeper gives you the final Abirik Cham.

Hint: Crew locations:
At about the middle of the game, Vyse will receivehis own ship, the Delphinus. After you receive this ship, youwill be able to recruit crew members that will help you win shipbattles. Here are their locations, jobs and what they do for theship.

Location: Talk to her at your base to have her join your crew.Disc 2.
Passive: Increases the damage dealt by Secondary Cannons.

Location: He joins automatically when you visit your base afterit has been

Location: Talk to him in Horteka after having found the Ixa'nessVillage. Disc 1.
Passive: Increases the Hit% of Torpedos.

Urala

Location: Talk to her in Yafutoma's restaurant once Kirala isin your crew. Disc 1.
Crew Command: Maxes out the ships SP. (15)

Hint: Easy level up:
After you complete the Temple of Pyrynn and the twoship fights, go in the back way to the room before the magma walkway.Run up and down the room fighting monsters. This is also a goodway to level up magic. You can get Moonberries at the end of fights,based on a random drop.

After you complete the Temple of Pyrynn and the following battles,heal and go in the back entrance. Go to the room after the magmawalkway and run up and down the stairs. You will fight a groupof Salamanders. Vyse can kill one in one hit, as can Drachma.Have Aika and Fina attack the same one, and it will be killed.They also seem to drop quite a few Moonberries.

After you go through the Dark Rift, you will be able to go back.After you finish off all the tasks and have to go around the world,go back to the Dark Rift then go to the exit. You will see a largeblack Elooper which is stronger than Ramirez. Battle it and automaticallyuse Vyse's Skull Shield, Aika's Blocking Magic special, Drachma'sSpirit Charge, and have Fina Focus. Repeat until you get the ProphecyCrew special and use it. Keep doing this until it dies to get7,000 experience points.

Hint: Easy money:
Go to Nasr kingdom and fight the weird plants withgold spikes. Try to let them live a little so that they call allies.You will get 1,000 gold for each one killed.

Hint: Secret specials:
You need the Delpinus and at least five crew membersto get these specials. Get your SP (spirit points) in battle tofull and a crew SP icon will appear next to the item. This enablesall of your active crew members to attack. Repeat these stepsto get another special. You need all four people alive for thisto work. This one combines the strength of all four people, andis the strongest special in the game.

Hint: Three final secrets:
To unlock the final three secrets in the game you mustmeet the following requirements:

Have a treasure chest discovery rate of 90%/
Have every Discovery in your Journal.
Fight 12 or 15 non-story line ship battles.
Kill over 3,000 enemies.
Find all of the Moonfish

After these requirements are met, you can find the Golden Hamachou,buy the Sky Fang, and fight Vigoro the air pirate.

Hint: Mystery merchant on file two:
When you start a new game on file two, the mysterymerchant you saw on Sailors Island on file one is now on Maramba.The mystery merchant is in the first building by the docks.

Hint: Defeating Piastol:
Do not sell one of the two Swords Of Daccat that youget. When you fight Piastol, equip one. Have Vyse attack the DeathHound. It will fall asleep in the first or second turn. Then,have Vyse just focus, Aika cast Delta Shield, Fina focus or heal,and Enrique cast Justice Shield every turn until you can use Prophecy.Do this twice, and you should win easily.
